01

The problem

A fix is difficult to reuse when the note only records the final action. Environment details, evidence, assumptions, and validation often matter just as much as the command or configuration change.

02

The approach

Obsidian and Markdown provide the workspace for project notes, troubleshooting records, and technical learning. A useful record captures the goal, baseline, observations, actions, result, and next step in a consistent structure.

03

Quality and boundaries

Notes distinguish confirmed facts from hypotheses and retain enough context to explain a decision later. Credentials and sensitive operational details do not belong in a public portfolio. AI-assisted summaries need to remain traceable to their source material.

04

Current scope and next steps

The repository develops alongside field and lab work. The next focus is consistent naming, links between related notes, and clearer handoffs for work that continues across sessions. Search and retrieval improve only when the underlying notes are trustworthy.
